Hello!
Being a writer and being extremely curious about pretty much everything in existence is truly wonderful. I get to live out so many lives and situations via each character I lovingly create from bits of me and other enchanting people I meet. The world is filled to the utter brim with interesting people, places, things, and events.
My characters experience life the same way you do. They are who they are and then they deal with what life throws at them. Like you and me, they never know what is coming. However, it is always an adventure, whether large or small.

I am a mother, a grandmother, and an avid self-learner of ALL things under (and over) the sun. I enjoy the research it takes to create the stories for my characters here, as well as for the books I write. The letters are created while researching, experiencing, and learning.
If you were to travel through space and time, you would find me writing my stories out on my front porch swing, as often as possible, the birds singing all around me and the frogs croaking in the pond behind my country cottage, my dog asleep in the sunshine, and the chickens chasing grasshoppers.

The Inspiration
Letters in Your Mailbox is a subscription service that hearkens back to an earlier time when we joyfully ran to the mailbox to read an expected letter.
Today, people rarely send letters to one another via the postal service and we've lost a simple and sweet pleasure in our lives, because of it.

Letters in Your Mailbox set out to fill that need with a unique idea. For a monthly subscription fee, you or a loved one can receive a weekly letter from a beloved character. Their lives are shared in serial form. Each character has a story to tell and enjoys writing once a week. Each mails on a different day so, with multiple subscriptions, letters can be delivered multiple days of the week.
The letters tell about the character and what they are experiencing. Some have simple lives and some are adventurous. Some are women and some are men. Some are lonely and some are extroverts. All are thoughtful and willing to allow others to see into personal parts of their week-to-week challenges and successes.
Through these letters; ideas, locations, and circumstances are introduced that are meant to spark imagination and joie de vivre ~ the joy of life!

for shut-ins and elderly citizens, we hope that our

Introducing the Characters
We have a variety of characters and are continually expanding. Check back frequently and see who's arrived! Click on a photo for more information.
Our very first character was Chloe. What a sweetheart! Then Steven came along, an adventurous young man to even things out. Both Chloe and Steven are comfortable putting themselves out there. So we brought Daphne in, who struggles with being comfortable with herself but presses on despite her desire to run and hide.
Mark and Drew, came along to represent the hurting who are just trying to figure out how to face a life they did not expect. Bekkah joined in not long after, to share world travels with fresh eyes.

Charles is retired and a hoot! He's got plenty of years of experience and knowledge in his back pocket. He is stocked up with jokes, stories, information, and wisdom.

Serenity is our latest character. Her letters are serious in nature and purpose. She is a ministry to those who are truly experiencing depression and need a real touch in their lives. Check out her personal details to see what she offers.
We have upcoming characters who will be from other times and other places. We are also working on various ethnicities and maybe even some interesting science fiction. Stay tuned!
